Before I left for Singapore, I got a chance to do my very first blog makeover on WORDPRESS! Jamie was blogging on another blogging template called MovableType and wanted to switch to wordpress for personal reasons. However, since she loved the template she already had, all she wanted me to do was to do an identical layout from her existing layout.

So here it is. I did the basic layout coding, install the header, put in the background, make sure the colors are the same and Jamie did the widget installation herself :)

So folks.. yes.. LadyJava Creations is now doing WORDPRESS blog makeover!

Spicybugz wanted to start a new blog for her East Meets West Recipes and what better way to do it than with a new blog makeover. She loves earthy colors but was worried that it may be too boring so I combined earth colors and some reds and orange to bring a little spark to the blog. The end result is shown below..

The before look..

What do you guys think?

So if you want a blog makeover of you own?.. Do contact me today!

After a little twitting about a site that a lot of us use to blog with, Bill decided that he has had enough and wanted to blog on his own turf and his own domain.

He bought a domain name, set up it and commissioned me to do his blog makeover. As Bill is a friend and a repeat client, I was only too happy to accommodate him despite my busy and crazy schedule. I picked out a template that would suit the blog's concept, amended the blog custom header that I did for him once before and within a few hours all is ready and set to go.

Check our the new and improve Inside Hollywood!

I love this template so much that I might even use it for LJC soon. lol!

So are you ready for a blog makeover? Contact me today!

As many of you know I have a few (understatement of the year) blogs to my name so much so that it is quite tedious most times to let people know of all their names and url. I thought about making name cards but never found the time to design, much less to send it to the printers. So.. I did the next best thing, I created an “about me” page with links all my blog addresses together with a link to a “contact me page” that visitors can use to write to me.

I found a free hosting site that gives excellent storage and bandwidth capacity and set to work and the result is as you seen above.

So if you want your very own unique “About/Contact” page, please contact me and we can get to work immediately :)

I’ve just taken the Shopping Quiz and found that I’m a Sales Diva. I’m thrifty and fashionable and it seems I know where to get all the best bargains.. and that is so true. However no matter how thrifty I am, I tend to go on impulse buying sometimes and that is what gets me into trouble until I had to resort to debt consolidation one time :(

Oh well, that’s in the past so let’s talk about fashion and style instead. Though I’m not a trend followers or by far a trend setter, I know what suits me and my body type and I also tend to lean to the safe side. I used to love dark colors especially black but since moving out here to Malaysia, I can’t stand the heat that the dark colors absorbed and so totally change the color of my wardrobe. My style is simple yet it can fit to almost any setting and event. Most times I stress on comfort. I hate ironing clothes and it’s reflected by the clothes materials in my wardrobe.

Much like fashion, the style that I use for my blog makeover is simple yet classy. I don’t like cluttered look and I try to make the template as user friendly as possible so that my clients can do the changes themselves long after I am no longer in the picture. I also go the extra mile when it comes to my clients. I not only tweaked the template, I tweak the widgets that you have installed too so that it matches the new template in terms of size and location. So you can see, my fee is really affordable and some even call it CHEAP!

What are you waiting for, order your blog makeover with me today.

This new year will see more and more things getting expensive with more people having less purchasing power. I’ve started feeling the pinch even last year but nothing beats the frustration as when I was at the supermarket recently buying my favorite instant coffee mix, tea, some groceries and all of these, though only filling up one measly plastic bag and despite me using coupon codes, cost me RM57.60! That is simply ridiculous I say.

So how can we save money in this dwindling economy, where there is a stagnant in income but an increase in price in everything else? Well I could list down 30 Ways to Save Money but here I would list only a few to share with you.

  1. As we almost never use the car, Azwaj saves money by taking on a third party car insurance policy instead of a comprehensive one this year.
  2. We ride the motorbike as much as possible. Not only is it faster to get around with, we can also save on petrol. A full tank only cost RM8 and it still gets us to the place we are going to!
  3. We try to eat at home as much as possible. Yes it may mean more work for me as I have to cook but at least we know it’s more nutritious and economical :)

These are the things we are doing this year. The first two is easy enough though the third one is really a challenge especially given our home scene these days. On my part to help you save money yet still have that individual look for your blog, I will keep my blog makeover fee the same as last year! How’s that for a new year good news? lol! So contact me soon ya!

As promised, here’s my first freebie for the year 2010 called Zen Life.
